What is Imago Dei?

Imago Dei is a global initiative to help families living in underprivileged nations. The goal is to foster Christian spirituality and personal growth on an individual level while promoting small-scale economic development and on-going aide projects. Imago Dei funds programs to first meet basic human needs -- food, shelter, education, healthcare and a sustainable income. Along the way, and central to the mission, are efforts to show the power of a Christ centered life. The goal is simple: form a global network of communities where lives are lifted from poverty and human pain and longing are placed in the arms of Christ.

George’s 30 minute series “Gospel for All” every Sunday for six months.

On Monday, June 22, 2009, Neel Durbin, Director of Music at Holy Angels Catholic Church in Dyersburg , was invited by Rev. George to participate in the weekly taping. Neel, a musician and singer, provided the meditation music for the weekly episode. Some of the pieces Neel sang were original compositions and others were favorite hymns that echoed the gospel message of the week.

This is a great opportunity to bring the Gospel message to a very large group. Please prayer for the success of this venture.
